Northern Dutchess Hospital

Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) is a 84-bed, acute care, community hospital located in the picturesque Village of Rhinebeck, NY. Northern Dutchess Hospital recently expanded its emergency department to provide advanced comprehensive emergency service and greater patient comfort. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is a caring setting for medical and surgical services offered through various specialty departments, including the Neugarten Family Birth Center, Women’s View, Dyson Center for Women’s Imaging, Center for Healthy Aging, Wound Care and Hyperbaric Therapy Center, Cardio-Diagnostic Center, Outpatient Nutrition Department, Sleep Disorders Center, Paul Rosenthal Rehabilitation Center, Outpatient Rehabilitation, and a medically-based Wellness Center. Residents will receive exposure to patient-centered community care with a wide variety of cases.

The new Martin and Toni Sosnoff patient pavilion opened in February 2016. It is an 87,000-square-foot pavilion that advances the level and quality of clinical care available to local residents. From the spacious, private rooms to advanced surgical suites equipped with minimally invasive technology, patients and their families receive excellent medical care close to home. Through the new patient pavilion, NDH has created a healing environment where modern medicine meets compassionate care.
